Pool ExerciseTip: One Sneaky Tweak Turns This Water Warm-Up Move into a Wicked Abdominal Toner!

Sneaky but it works!  Here’s how to get extra abdominal toning from my brand new video, Cardio +Core for DEEPER Water.  Go to the C+C Deeper Water Video page right here on my site.  View Water Warm-Up Move #1 of the posted film clip.

Use it as shown for warming up.  Then later in your workout, return to that same move, but this time, LEAN BACK until you’re horizontal.  Absolutely keep your toes on the same level as your shoulders–you’ll look like you’re cupped in a little basket.  Twist your waist, reach  forward and tap the UNDERSIDE of your heel.  Arms criss-cross vigorously:  Right arm reaches to left heel, then left arm reaches to right heel.    

Twist and tap for 30 to 50 reps–all the while keeping your abs firmly tucked to maintain your heels at the shoulder level.  Positively Do Not allow your heels to droop to the pool bottom while you’re working it.  Hollow your belly to maintain heels at the water’s surface–that’s how your abs reap the benefits.

Feel it in your abs?! Say OOO AHHH!
